Advantage Series

Motorised VAV Diffusers

Advantage Series VAV diffusers provide personal control within a zone by modulating the flow of supply air to a particular area. With the ability to monitor load and supply air temperature, the Advantage VAV diffuser is an exciting alternative to VAV terminal units. Native BACnet™ ensures that the Advantage will exchange data with products from other vendors on any BACnet™ MS/TP DDC building control network.


Advantage VAV diffusers are nominal 24” (600mm) square ceiling diffusers with built in DDC controller, temperature sensors and VAV damper. The motor-driven damper opens or closes to deliver air flow (hot or cold) into the room in response to room temperature and setpoint. An electric motor directly drives a threaded shaft connected to the damper. The electric motor has been tested to provide years of reliable service. 

The Advantage features PI (Proportional + Integral) control algorithms for proven control, stability, and versatility. Con¬tinual feedback of room temperature compared to room set point improves response over time by eliminating “hunt¬ing” and “thermal overshoot”, maximizing comfort in the space.

All Advantage Series models are provided with 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14” inlets for standard connection to supply ductwork.
